J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Pudukkottai, English Literary Association organized an Inter- Departmental Competition on “A Challenge on Content Writing†at 11.00 a.m on 21st August 2025.The competition was conducted with the objective of enhancing students with creative writing skills, and critical thinking. Each department nominated two students to participate in the event. The participants were given topics on the spot from a wide range of contemporary and socially relevant themes such as Technology, Drug Abuse, Online Education, Natural Disasters, and Leaders of our Nation. The students were instructed to write within a limit of 500 words in the allotted time of one hour.
The participants exhibited remarkable talent and originality in their writings, reflecting their awareness of social issues and their ability to express ideas effectively. The event not only provided a platform for students to showcase their creative abilities but also motivated them to engage in meaningful content writing. The winners of the competition will be honored with certificates and prizes in the forthcoming Literary Association Meeting.
The event was efficiently organized under the guidance of the Convenor Ms. S. Selvi, Head, Department of English with the committee members Ms.G.Deivasena, Ms.S.Alagumathi, Ms.V.Visalatchi and Mr.B.Saravanakannan.
