The PG and Research Department of Commerce with CA and the
Department of Commerce of J.J. College of Arts & Science (Autonomous),
Sivapuram, Pudukkottai, organized an Invited Lecture on “Tamil Nadu
Financial Budget 2026 – An Overview” on 12 August 2026 at the College
Conference Hall.
The programme was held under the presidentship of Dr. S. Adaekalavan,
Head (i/c), Department of Commerce with CA.
Dr. A. P. Palanichamy, Associate Professor, PG and Research
Department of Economics, Thanthai Periyar Government Arts and Science
College (Autonomous), delivered the special address.
He explained the important features of the Tamil Nadu Financial Budget
2026 and highlighted its significance for the development of the state. The
lecture helped the students to understand the budget and its impact on the
economy.
Faculty members and students actively participated in the programme.
