The English Literary Association of J. J. College of Arts and Science, (Autonomous ), Sivapuram, Pudukkottai organised an Intercollegiate Competition Literary Carnival 2K25 on Wednesday, 24.09.2025. Colleges from Pudukkottai, Thirumayam, Peravurani, Alangudi, and Manalmelkudi enthusiastically participated in events like Tableau, Monalogue, Page to Palette, Word Sudoku, Treasure Hunt and Rhythm Rumble.
Dr. S. Kavitha, the Executive Trustee, KVET, declared the meet open and underlined the importance of such events in grooming youth for the challenges of life. They sharpen the mind and the intellect and make students ready to respond to crises.
Earlier Dr. J. Parasuraman, Principal welcomed the gathering and pinpointed the essentiality of Intercollegiate competitions which improve their skills and talents through various exposures.
S.Sankari, C.Premkumar, R.Sivakumar, R.Aravindh, S.Kalaivani, K.Muthulakshmi G.Deivasena, R.Ramya and S.Alagumathi Assistant Professors of the Department co-ordinated the various events.
The overall championship went to Annai Kadeeja Arts and Science College for Women, Kandanivayal, Pudukkottai . The second place was bagged by Government Arts and Science College, Thirumayam. Prizes and certificates were distributed by Dr. J. Parasuraman, Principal.
Cash award was also given to the best performer. Mrs.S.Selvi, Head, Department of English proposed the vote of thanks and the Literary Carnival 2025 came to an end with the National Anthem.
