On behalf of Jenner club of PG and Research Department of Microbiology organized
an Intercollegiate Meet Micromiracle 2026 on Tuesday 27th Januaruy 2026.
63 students from 04 colleges such as Bon Secours College for Women (Autonomous),
Sri Bharathi Arts and Science College for Women Pudukkottai,St.Joseph’s College
(Autonomous) Trichy and Vivekanandha Arts and Science College for Women Thiruchengode
were participated in various Competitions.
The function was inaugurated by Dr. S. Kavitha Subramaniyan, Madam Trustee,
Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust, Pudukkottai. In her address she congratulated the
Department of Microbiology for conducting Micromiracle for the 25th year. She said that
Microbiology, though often invisible to the naked eye, holds the key to some of the most visible
transformations in health, environment, agriculture, and industry. Today’s event not only
recognizes this significance but also encourages young minds to explore its frontiers she
encouraged the participants: remember, whether they win a prize or not, their willingness to
engage, learn, and showcase their talents is itself a victory. Let this platform be a catalyst for
lifelong learning, networking, and inspiration.
Dr.J.Parasuraman, Principal, J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous),
felicitated the gathering. In his felicitation he said that MICROMIRACLE-2026 transcends
traditional competition it becomes a platform for awareness, creativity, and responsible science.
They are not just competitors they are ambassadors of curiosity, collaboration, and change.
Whether on stage in “Just a Minute” or in the kitchen crafting heart-healthy meals, they should
demonstrate that science is not confined to laboratories but lives in every thoughtful action.
Let this day be remembered not only for trophies won, but for friendships forged, ideas
exchanged, and passions ignited.
The winners were awarded with prizes and Certificates. The Overall Winner Trophy
was bagged by Sri Bharathi Arts and Science College for Women, Pudukkottai and Bon
Secours College for Women, Thanjavur got the Overall Runner Trophy. Prizes were given
out by Dr.J.Parasuraman Principal, J. J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous). Earlier
Dr.P Jeevan, Co-ordinator IQAC and Head, Department of Microbiology gave the Welcome
Address. Finally Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr.M.Poornima, Assistant Professor of
Microbiology.
