The Wilmut Club of the PG and Research Department of Biotechnology, J.J. College of Arts and

Science (Autonomous), Pudukkottai, successfully organized an Alumni Meet on 25th January

2026 at 10:00 a.m. The programme was held at the PG Conference Hall and saw enthusiastic

participation from 37 alumni.

The session was conducted in the presence of Dr. G. Manigandan, Head of the Department of

Biotechnology, who delivered the welcome address. Mr Senthil kumar as president, Mr

Franklyn Shyam as Secretary, Abdun Naseen as vice presdient, Jeyakumar as joint secretary

appointed as members in that alumni association 2026.

Alumni from various academic years introduced themselves and shared their academic and

professional journeys, recalling their memorable experiences as students. This interaction helped

strengthen the bond between the alumni and the present members of the institution. The alumni

also offered valuable suggestions regarding curriculum development, student training,

internships, and career guidance. The event concluded with an open discussion, a feedback

session, and group photographs. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. V. Jayaramanathan,

Assistant Professor.
