The Department of Commerce with Computer Applications, J.J. College of Arts and Science

(Autonomous), Sivapuram, Pudukkottai, organized a Voters’ Awareness Rally in connection with

National Voters’ Day.

The rally was conducted on Friday, 23 January 2026 at 11.00 a.m., commencing from the

college campus and passing through the main streets. The programme was organized with the objective

of creating awareness among the public about the importance of voting and active participation in the

democratic process.

Students of the Department of Commerce with CA enthusiastically participated in the rally,

raising slogans such as “Your Vote, Your Right” and “Every Vote Counts”. The rally emphasized the

responsibility of voters and highlighted the significance of exercising one’s voting right.

The Head of the Department, Commerce with CA, along with faculty members and students,

participated in the rally and addressed the importance of voter awareness. They urged citizens to vote

responsibly and contribute to strengthening democracy.

The rally successfully drew public attention and played an important role in spreading

awareness about the value of voting.
