The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Kavitha Subramanian, Trustee of Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust. In her inaugural address, she explained the meaning and structure of a workshop and highlighted the distinctive features of Haiku poetry. She encouraged students to develop their creativity and write meaningful poems that reflect social consciousness.
