The seminar on 75 years of Economics Development Post Independent Indiawas conducted by Department of Commerce with Computer Applications at J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Sivapuaram, Pudukkottai – 622 422 on 12.08.2022. The seminar was organized for UG and PG students. Dr. M. JuliasCeasar, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Trichy 2 were discussed about 75 years of Economic Development Post Independent India. In his Speech he outlined the economic development of India for the past 75 years. We live in a golden day of celebrating the 75th independence day these days we are enjoying the development of our countries economic level compare then some other countries because of Entrepreneurship is utmost care and important in economic and modern business. There is an increased rate of economic development across developed and developing countries considering the issue of self-employment. Whether you start your own company or select to ascend the business ladder, maintaining the spirit of entrepreneurship all along the way is essential. The lecture was organized to raise basic awareness of Economic Development of India and to enable students to identify and learn how to make a mindset to take up development as a career. Leo Franklin, Assistant Professor, who welcomed all and outlined the purpose and structure of the seminar and introduced the Guest, Dr. J. Parasuraman, Principal, took part in the seminar and Dr. S. Adaekalavan, Assistant Professor, presided over the seminar.
The session was an interactive one where the students were very participative and engaged in questions with the dignitary. More than 114 students participated in the interactive session of the seminar. Among others who attended the seminar were department faculties.
