Add massing the students on the Evolution of world literature from the perspective of Equality, Fraternity and Liberty, Dr.A.V.Ponnalagu, Assistant Professor of English, H.H. The Rajah’s College (Autonomous), Pudukkottai outlined low the tree seminal ideas had altered the course of the history of ideas. If provided the spark for sociological and socialist perspectives on wide ranging areas from politics, philosophy, religion ant and literature. The three principles inspired Revolutions and Freedom Movements all over the world an ignited the creative imagination cutting across racial and linguistic lines. Post 18th century literature in all languages could be seen as emanaliry from these three principles that emancipated the human spirit from the atropha of centuries of subjugation and exploitation. He punctuated his talk with quotations from Tamil and English Literature and from Vedic hymns.
