A Book Exhibition was organized at J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Sivapuram, Pudukkottai for three days from 07.08.2019 to 09.08.2019. SaiTech Publications, Chennai, New Century Book House, Pudukkottai, and S.T Book Traders, Tiruchirappalli, exhibited books on various subjects.
The Exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Kavitha Subramanian, Trustee, Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust by lighting the lamp and by her special address to students. She stressed the need for reading for increating one’s knowledge. Students should have extra reading other than their subjects. Only then they can know a lot. Knowledge is power. This, students should always remember. They should be regular in their visit to the library. Reading makes a man, says Francis Bacon.
Dr.J.Parasuraman, Principal, in his felicitation, asked the students to practise words of wisdom that they have gathered from reading books of all time.
Mr.Rajangam, Librarian, proposed the vote of thanks.
Books were supplied to students and staff at a 20% concessional rate.
