The 24th Graduation Days of J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) were celebrated on Saturday, 26th February, 2022 and Sunday 27th February, 2022.
On the first day (26.02.2022) Degrees were conferred on girl students who had passed out from their U.G., P.G., M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses. Delivering the Graduation Day Address, Dr. S.Selvam, Vice Chancellor, Bharathidasan University exhorted students to be ambitious. They should not consider graduation as the end of the road. It is only a beginning for more advanced learning and refinement. He advised them to be in pursuit of excellence in thought, word and deed. They should be capable of planning ahead not only for themselves but for society at large. For this they should hone their skills through dedicated application and constant practice. They should also nurture the creativity within themselves. This requires confidence and a correct assessment of oneself, one’s environment and the needs of the time. So, graduates should constantly upgrade their skills. That alone will help them to win the race in the contemporary competitive scenario.
Dr.Kavitha Subramanian, Trustee, Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust, welcomed the gathering, Mr. N.Subramanian, Secretary, J.J. Group of Institutions graced the occasion and managed the modalities of the function. Dr.J.Parasuraman, Principal presented the Annual Report.
The Chief Guest distributed degrees to 820 Girls students and awarded medals and certificates to the rank holders (24 in number). The Boys will receive the Degrees tomorrow. The best outgone girl students were given awards and certificates.
