A Special Lecture on "Recent Trends in ERP Systems" was organized by the COMAP Association of the Department of Computer Applications of J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Pudukkottai , on 1st August 2022 at 10.A.M. Final year M.C.A. and B.C.A. students were the target group.
Mr.William Jesudoss Felix M.C.A. Senior ERP Technical Lead, DBC Inc, Sharonvilla, Cincinnati, Ohio, Unites States Of America was the special guest Dr. S.J Sathish Aaron Joseph, Head, Department of Computer Applications presided over the function and introduced the special invitee to the Participants. Ms.A. Maria Stella Asst.Prof. Department of Computer Applications , moderated the session. Final B.C.A. G. Guhan Welcomed the gathering and R. Bharathan delivered the vote of thanks.
In the discussion he shared that ERP will evolve and adapt to the needs of users and their business goals in 2022. Just as organizations are diversifying to meet today’s challenges ,so are their software vendors mutating their products to become a better fit for the next generation of organizations. And that’s happening with ERP. The trends in ERP are Cloud ERP ,Two-Tier ERP ,Digital Transformation, ERP Personalization, AI-Powered Insights and Improvements ,Predictive Analytics, Mobile ERP, Human-ERP Interaction.. He clarified all the doubts of the students. Students who participated in the session, gained knowledge about ERP and its Future.
The Professors, Students and volunteers of the Department of Computer Applications made the necessary arrangements for the smooth running of the event.
