The Training and Placement cell of , J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Pudukkottai, Inagurated a Training Programme on "POWERFUL CONVERSATION" on 29th July 2022 at 11 A.M. All the Final year students of UG and PG participated in the programme.
Ms.Valliammai Chellappan B.Tech.,MS(U.S.A) Consultant Programme Manager, Blue shield of California , California,United States of America, Was the Resource Person . She addressed that A great conversation is made up of several factors like Active listening , Asking and answering questions ,Finding mutual interests and similarities , Having an intention for the conversation, Avoiding controversial topics , Smiling, Making eye contact , Giving compliments , Asking for advice or recommendations, Maintaining a positive attitude ,Using the technology at our disposal, Not wasting people’s time and Knowing when to end the conversation.
She adviced the student community to follow the above tips. She also cleared the doubt of the students. Dr.S.Kavitha ,Trustee Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust gave the Presidential Address. She said that Conversations build our own power. As Quality conversations improve our efficiency and productivity we have to improve our conversational skills.
