A Special Lecture on Recent Trends in Data Analytics was organized by the COMAP Association of the Department of Computer Applications of J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Pudukkottai , on 27th July 2022 at 10.A.M. M.C.A. and B.C.A. final year students were the target group.

Ms.M.Muthulakshmi, (Alumna:2018-2020-M.C.A) ,Data Analyst, HCL Technologies, Navalur, Chennai was the Resource Person. Dr. S.J Sathish Aaron Joseph, Head, Department of Computer Applications presided over the function and introduced the Chief Guest to the Participants. Ms.A.Maria Stella Asst.Prof. Department of Computer Applications Co-ordinated the session.

Ms.A.Arul Rojini of II M.C.A.Welcomed the gathering, while Hemalatha of II M.C.A. delivered the vote of thanks. The resource person shared her views on 2022 year's top top trends in Data and Analytics related to three imperatives. Activating Diversity and Dynamism- Using adaptive AI systems to drive growth and innovation while coping with fluctuations in global markets.

Augmenting people and decisions -to deliver enriched, context-driven analytics created from modular components by the business. Institutionalize trusting- to achieve value from D&A at scale, Manage AI risk and enact connected governance across distributed systems, edge environments and emerging ecosystems.All the queries of the students were addressed by the resource person. Students who participated in the session, gained knowledge on top trends in Data and Analytics.

Faculty members of the Department and Student volunteers of Computer Applications Department made the necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the programme.
