A one day Special Lecture Programme was organized by the Department of Computer Science (Cyber Tech Association) at 10.30 am on 26.07.2022 (Tuesday).

Dr.P.Arul Assistant Professor Department of Computer science, Govt. Arts College, Tiruverambur, Trichy-22, was the guest and he delivered a talk on Python Programming.

He started his talk by briefing out the history of Python and also he specified the use of python in areas like web development, software development, mathematics and system scripting. He insisted the need of Python which works on different platforms like windows, Mac, Linux, Raspberry etc).

He also stated that Python is very easy to use as it is user friendly.

He briefed out on the basic concepts like data types, loops, arrays, lists, tuples, and methods with suitable examples. Advanced concepts like Lambda functions, range functions, file handling were outlined.

He also listed the applications of python such as console applications, web applications and desktop applications, scientific, Data science and Machine learning and AI(Numpy, Panda, MAT plot Lib) He also insisted the importance of learning python where one can get placed in reputed companies.

Earlier III B.Sc. Computer Science Mr.R.Rahim welcomed the gathering; Mr.N.Panneer Selvam proposed the vote of thanks and Ms.M. Dhanuja done master of ceremony. The arrangements were done by Dr.S.Sudha Head of the department along with the faculty members.
