   An International event, Open International Championship was held at Kulim Hi-tech Park Sports complex, 09000 Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia from 4^th to 6^th May, 2018.  30 different countries all over the world under different categories of Karate have participated in that event.
   T.Krishna Prasanth of I M.Sc. Biotechnology, J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Pudukkottai have won first prize and also won Gold Medal in Kata and Kumite events is Karate game and moreover he was qualified to play in the forthcoming Asian games that will be held on October 2018 at Srilanka.
College Secretary, Mr. N.Subramanian, J.J. Group of Institutions, Principal&Dr. J.Parasuraman,  Physical Director Dr. K.Jagathis Babu and Dr. G.Manigandan, Head, Department of Biotechnology, felicitated and motivated the student who won 2 Gold and also selected for Asian Games 2018.
