A one day awareness programme on "Menstrual Health and Hygiene" was organized by Women Empowerment Wing, J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Pudukkottai at 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday 04.01.2023 in KIM Conference Hall. Ms. M.Rajalakshmi was the guest of honour. She talked about Menstrual Hygiene, types of menstrual Hygiene, Hygiene Management. She explained hygiene related practices of women during the menstruation. She also teached Menstrual waste disposal techniques used by Women. She point out the consequences of menstrual waste disposal. There are 100 beneficiaries in this event.
Presiding over the event Dr.Kavitha Subramanian, Trustee, Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust delivered the presidential address. Ms. L.Mercita, III B.A. English delivered the welcome address. Dr.S.Rethnadevi, Co-ordinator, Women Empowerment Wing delivered the vote of thanks. The event was a great success.
