Department of Botany organized Alumni Meet 2022 on 11th December 2022 11.30 a.m. at conference hall. The main aim of the Alumni Meet was to encourage, foster and promote close relations among the alumni themselves. To guide and assist Alumni who have recently completed their courses of study at the J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) to keep them engaged in productive pursuits useful to the society. Totally 75 students participated in the event.
The morning session began with registrations and Dr.A.N. Sundarl Associate Professor of Botany welcomed the gathering with his inspiring words. Dr. M.Arumugam, Head of the Department gave the Key note address.
The Alumni Association achieves these objectives by staging an annual programme of events and reunions; through communications, by providing a range of discounts and services for alumni. The response received from our students and the feedback of the participants was really good. Finally Mrs.K.Thamarai Chelvi, Assistant Professor of Botany delivered the vote of thanks.
